The Flying V 200 is our vision of what a radical fin should be! Inspired by our team rider and Skyrama’s R&D lead, Armie took it a step further by incorporating a few design secrets from the America’s Cup to create the highly avant-garde Flying V

Working alongside our radical test rider, Beven Gooch, Armie has refined this design into a futuristic shape reminiscent of a heavy metal guitar! It’s fast, loose and carves brilliantly, so you can take the lead on any wave! It extends the speed potential of any pre-Armstrong wing, making it ideal for riding faster waves!

The Flying V has been designed for the new A+System fuselage. We’ve streamlined, reinforced and simplified the rear wing connection by attaching it directly to the A+System TC fuselage and integrating the current TTF shape directly into the fuselage. For most foilers, this means a simple, direct connection without a rear wing shim. For more experienced riders, our new Pro polycarbonate shims can easily be added to tailor your rig to your exact needs and preferences as you progress.

The Flying V is also compatible with the original TC fuselage when used with a TTF.

Construction

The rear wing has a foam core wrapped in the highest quality carbon fibre, making it lightweight and extremely stiff.

The titanium screw inserts are in line with our philosophy of using corrosion-free materials throughout the product range.

The unique flow barriers improve stability by minimising the disturbance caused by turbulent flow from the front wing, mast and fuselage.
