Al Merrick’s CI Mid Twin reinvents Channel Islands’ famous mid-length board by incorporating the freedom and dynamism of a narrow twin-fin setup. Designed in collaboration with Devon Howard, this board retains the excellent paddling capabilities and smooth glide of the original model, whilst offering significantly livelier manoeuvrability, tighter turns and the characteristic pop of the Twin.

Key Features of the CI Mid Twin

• The Twin Fin Flow: Removing the centre fin completely frees up the board, offering a natural glide, instant speed and incredible pivot in turns.

• Ultra-Easy Paddling: Thanks to its generous outline and well-distributed volume, it cuts through the water effortlessly, allowing you to catch the wave early and double your wave count per session.

• Enhanced Manoeuvrability: To suit the twin-fin setup, the shape has been subtly adjusted to offer faster and more responsive rail-to-rail transitions than on the classic 2+1 version.
