 Bob Hurley, a visionary surfboard shaper, launched the Hurley brand in 1999, drawing inspiration from his passion for the sea as well as the spirit and creativity of young people.

Before Hurley, Bob made a name for himself in Huntington Beach as one of the most talented shapers of his generation, before gaining international recognition as the favourite shaper of Rabbit Bartholomew, the 1978 world surfing champion.

Driven by a desire to create ever lighter, faster and more flexible boards, Bob eventually applied this innovative philosophy to boardshorts and wetsuits.
