It integrates seamlessly as the highest-capacity battery for the Foil Drive MAX+ system. One-piece construction and absolute robustness

Foil Drive has reimagined ergonomics by introducing a one-piece moulded design where the battery and front cone form a single unit. This innovation eliminates the need for a separate cone whilst optimising hydrodynamic water flow. The ultra-robust housing boasts dual IP69 waterproof certification, providing an impenetrable barrier against salt water, pressure and dust. Furthermore, its shape allows the weight of the assembly to be ideally positioned just above the centre of thrust of your foil for natural balance in flight.

Connectivity and smart management

This battery features a smart battery management system (BMS) with Bluetooth connectivity. It communicates instantly with your V3 controller and the dedicated Foil Drive mobile app. This allows you to monitor the exact remaining battery percentage in real time, check the overall health of the cells and even give your battery a personalised name to make it easier to manage your kit if you have several batteries.

Usage and charging tips

The battery takes an average of 85 minutes to recharge using the standard 43V charger supplied with your Fusion or MAX+ kit. To preserve the lifespan of the lithium-ion cells, a storage mode is built in. If you do not plan to use your equipment for several weeks, ensure that the battery is kept at a charge level of between 30 and 60 per cent.
