A technical design born out of the G-Skate project

The Merrick/Gudauskas 2+1 fin set is the result of a collaboration between shaper Britt Merrick and the Gudauskas brothers (Dane, Pat and Tanner). This project came about whilst they were working together on the G-Skate board model. To create this high-performance model, the team drew on the leading edge curve of the BMT fin, whilst redefining the technical profile:

• A narrower base: to provide a feeling of freedom whilst gliding.
• A generous tail curve: to provide drive and excellent handling.
• A high-performance nose: designed to guarantee optimum control at the top of turns.
