The Foil Drive V2 Motor Puck is the official spare part designed to attach to the rear of your Foil Drive Gen2 motor (Assist MAX or Assist Slim). This streamlined cover plays a vital aerodynamic and hydrodynamic role by ensuring the power cable transitions seamlessly from the motor body along the mast. Made from high-strength engineering plastic to withstand marine conditions, it protects the connectors from impact and reduces drag in the water for a smooth glide. Ideal for replacing a worn or damaged part when handling your kit on the beach. Available at Waïmea Surf Shop in Anglet and on waimea.fr.
The Foil Drive v2 Motor Puck features a redesigned shape specifically for use with v2 motors and their detachable cable. When fitting the puck, the cable must first be connected to the motor, then the puck is fitted over the top of the cable, with the slot aligned with that of the motor cable. The supplied hardware (4x M4 16mm bolts) then secures the system in place. Please note: the Motor Puck v2 is ONLY compatible with v2 motors in Gen2 systems. The Puck v2 uses slightly shorter mounting hardware than the original v1 Pucks.
