Da FIN was developed by Andy Cochran, an Australian who has been living in Hawaii for 28 years. Cochran worked as a lifeguard in Australia on the famous Bondi Beach and was one of the pioneers of surf lifesaving in Australia. With the help of world-renowned professional lifeguards in Hawaii such as Mark Cunningham and Brian Keaulana, Cochran developed a high-performance fin.

DAFIN combines the comfort of a boot with an innovative shape to create a unique fin that is extremely effective in the most extreme conditions. Ten years ago, DAFIN was granted a US patent for its unique design. The Hawaiian Lifeguard Association has endorsed Dafin as the standard for lifeguard equipment for the past eight years.

Dafin is the number one choice for lifeguards, bodysurfers and top watermen worldwide. This fin is the benchmark for over 40 local authorities and lifesaving organisations in the United States.
