The FURIO is a hybrid lifejacket designed for foil sailing and kitesurfing. It combines a 50N buoyancy aid fitted with impact-resistant back protection and an inflatable lifejacket with a buoyancy of approximately 110N. The foam and the CO₂-filled inflatable bladder work well together. As soon as the rider needs it, they can manually activate the inflatable bladder.
The hybrid vest is form-fitting, providing the user with a great deal of freedom of movement, which is particularly appreciated during manoeuvres. This applies equally to foil racers – whether seated in the cockpit, kneeling or hanging from the trapeze – and to kitesurfers wearing a waist or full-body harness.
A subtle touch for comfort: a small opening at the bottom of the front neoprene sleeve allows the hook of the trapeze belt to pass through. The front zip is robust, making it very easy to put the vest on and take it off, whilst the manual inflation handle is easily accessible, allowing the vest to be inflated quickly. The removable back protector, which complies with the DIN EN 1621-2 standard, has been designed to provide greater protection for the spine. There is a storage pocket on the chest for keeping small items. A small fabric loop in the collar allows the lifejacket to be hung up.
The adjustable waist belt ensures a snug, body-hugging fit. The lifejacket is available in four sizes: S 40–60 kg Ref. 17214; M 60–80 kg Ref. 17215; L 80–100 kg Ref. 17216 and XL 100–120 kg Ref. 17217.
