The Stewart Hydro Glide Softop is one of the world’s most popular longboards, renowned for its astonishing ease of use and legendary stability. Designed by the renowned shaper Bill Stewart, this model features a unique bevel on the rails (beveled rails) which virtually eliminates edge misalignment and makes it much easier to switch from one rail to the other. Its Softop technology construction combines a high-performance rigid epoxy core with a soft, non-slip EVA foam deck, offering absolute comfort, excellent safety and exceptional impact resistance. It’s the ideal board for beginners learning the ropes, as well as for experienced surfers looking to make the most of the waves on days with small swells. The Hydro Glide Softops feature the high-quality shape of the Stewart models, combined with a soft construction to make paddling easier and help beginners stay more stable during take-offs and whilst surfing.
A sturdy foam layer on the deck ensures good buoyancy and substantial strength. It will also protect beginners from accidental impacts.
