Mikey February’s Shorty marks a return to the roots of high-performance shortboarding. Inspired by the precision surfing that took Mikey from South Africa to the World Surf League (WSL) circuit, this board was co-developed with shaper Britt Merrick. Featuring his famous Swirl Hex logo, it has already been adopted by many CT surfers. In terms of ride feel: it perfectly combines the accessibility of the Two Happy with the technical demands of the 2.Pro, whilst offering a smooth glide and total freedom. Design & Shape: A progressive rocker for optimal control, a slight bump at the fin area for tight turns in the pocket, and refined rails that preserve the shape’s full sensitivity. Speed & Transition: Its single-to-double concave offers excellent lift and remarkably smooth rail-to-rail transitions. Choose the same size as your usual shortboard; the Shorty embodies versatility and power, equally at home on long point breaks and hollow beach breaks.
