Mid-Length Range – Christian Bradley | Lynx Model
Christian Bradley’s Lynx has been designed to make the most of every wave, combining ultra-easy paddling, astonishing natural speed and formidable grip when the pace picks up.
Don’t be fooled by its smooth, flowing lines: beneath its sleek design, the Lynx hides a fiery temperament.
Performance & Versatility
Designed with a generous, curvaceous outline, it offers all the benefits of a mid-length board (fast paddling, early wave catch, endless glide), whilst allowing you to pivot and relaunch from the tail just as you would with your favourite shortboard.
Available sizes: Between 6'4" and 7'6"
The ideal compromise: It perfectly bridges the gap between a mid-length cruiser and a compact shortboard.
Performance: It catches waves as early as a large mid-length, but turns as sharply as a shortboard. It offers the best of both worlds, whether you’re surfing long, smooth waves or carving turns in deeper, more powerful sections.
Shape & Feel: A flat bottom that transitions into a slight single-to-double concave to maintain maximum speed without any drag.
Rocker & Rails: An intermediate rocker combined with soft rails offers a forgiving and intuitive feel underfoot.
Tail: Its rounded pin tail provides fluidity and absolute control for drawing clean lines and carving with precision. If you’re looking for a board that glides effortlessly yet turns on a sixpence, the Lynx is ready to pounce.
Recommended level: Intermediate to advanced. Perfect for surfers looking for a fast, stylish mid-length board that retains energy underfoot and makes transitions smooth.
Technical Specifications
Performance Range Outline: A mid-length outline with generous curves for maximum paddling power and very early take-offs, without sacrificing the ability to execute tight turns from the tail, worthy of a high-performance shortboard.
Bottom Contours: Flat to a slight Single/Double Concave: A flat nose to generate maximum speed and glide, transitioning into a subtle single-to-double concave at the fin area. This boosts acceleration, responsiveness and control, whilst maintaining perfect fluidity.
