FIREWIRE MASHUP

The Firewire Mashup is the new Firewire model designed by Mankine and Machado, built for small to medium waves.

Its width in the front third ensures a comfortable paddle, whilst its tapered tail provides exceptional manoeuvrability in all conditions.

Whatever the conditions, the board suffers from no unwanted movement. The Mashup really does act like a forgiving shortboard. A fast, playful and highly responsive board. You’ll ride up and down the wave with no trouble at all. And above all: you’ll have fun. What more could you ask for?

According to its designer, Dan Mann, the Mashup rides somewhere between the Seaside and the Dominator from Firewire. For him, the Mashup is a higher-performance version of the Seaside. You should therefore choose a larger size as it has more rail length and more volume.

Dan surfs a 5’7” Seaside and a 5’11” Dominator. He therefore decided to go for a 5’9” Mashup.
