The Futures Fins Stretch Quad fin set is the gold standard for high-performance quads, developed by the renowned Santa Cruz shaper William Riedel (Stretch Surfboards). Classified in the ‘Pivot’ category for its exceptional manoeuvrability and responsiveness, this set stands out for its very vertical profile and the duck-bill tip (beak-tip) characteristic of Stretch’s designs, allowing you to string together ultra-tight turns right in the pocket of the wave. Its premium Honeycomb construction utilises a resin-injection-moulded honeycomb core, resulting in a fin that is 25 per cent lighter than a traditional fin whilst maintaining excellent progressive flex (Ride Number of 7.4). The technical configuration combines a concave inner foil (V2 Foil) on the side fins to maximise lift and speed, with a 50/50 symmetrical foil on the rear fins to stabilise the trajectory without creating drag.
