The FCS II AM PC thruster fin set is the iconic signature model developed by legendary shaper Al Merrick of Channel Islands Surfboards. Part of the Shaper range, this design features very wide side fins with an elongated base to generate maximum speed and projection right from the bottom turn. Its technical innovation lies in a smaller centre fin, which reduces drag and allows the tail to release instantly during the most radical manoeuvres and snaps at the top of the wave. Its high-end Performance Core construction combines multi-layered fibreglass with an ultra-lightweight internal honeycomb core. This process gives the fin progressive flex and excellent shape memory to return energy with every push.
