The FCS 2 AM PC Twin + 1 set is the signature performance model developed in close collaboration with the legendary shaper Al Merrick of Channel Islands Surfboards. Designed to deliver maximum speed, drive and control, this versatile set combines two large side fins with a small, removable centre fin. Its premium Performance Core construction combines laminated fibreglass with an ultra-lightweight internal core to deliver a highly balanced flex pattern, ensuring instant acceleration from the drop and a highly dynamic rebound coming out of turns. The specific geometry of the side fins is characterised by a wide base to generate excellent propulsion, coupled with a rear-swept profile that ensures remarkable grip during deep, committed carves. The addition of the small rear fin helps stabilise your line through hollow sections and channels your turn without ever restricting the sense of freedom characteristic of a twin-fin board.
FCS II AM PC Twin M-L fins – the Al Merrick Twin 2+1 template for FCS II is now available for the first time.
They offer phenomenal drive, allowing you to build up plenty of speed even when the wave lacks power. Their shallow rake enables tight turns so you can string manoeuvre after manoeuvre together!
The set comes with a stabiliser (a smaller third fin to be fitted to a central plug) for those seeking maximum grip at high speed.
