The Lost Formula 1 surfboard is the ultimate high-performance shortboard, designed by Matt Biolos for discerning surfers. A direct evolution of the brand’s competition shapes, it combines a rocker that promotes instant speed with a streamlined outline and tapered rails, offering surgical control and ultra-fast transitions in the pocket of quality waves at Waimea.
This board delivers an instant sensation of speed combined with lively lift. It allows you to initiate powerful, fast turns from the front foot, whilst maintaining a precise and sharp finish under the back foot.
Compared to the Driver 3.0, the F1 shifts its volume and curves towards the rear. It features a narrower nose and a more curved outline under the back foot, ending in a more tapered tail for better grip. Under the board, the hull design is radical: a deep concave increases lift and speed, whilst accentuating the rail curve to facilitate radical turns. Despite fuller, more forgiving rails thanks to the ‘V’-shaped deck, the rear section remains slim with square edges for maximum control and drive.
